“Holy fuck, you are tight,” Marco whispered in awe. He listened to Kieran hiss at the intrusion as he slowly eased himself inside further, and when his hips met Kieran’s ass, he squeezed his eyes shut to stop himself from coming like a virgin.

“Marco,” Kieran whimpered, grinding against Marco’s hips. “Baby, please.”

The term of endearment opened a new door inside of Marco, like a closed-off attic that finally had been gifted daylight. His stomach swooped, and he grabbed onto Kieran’s hips to begin a steady rhythm. When Kieran begged him to go harder, Marco couldn’t have stopped himself even if he’d tried, his own gasping breath filling the air along with Kieran’s moans. The sound of skin slapping together, ragged breathing, and the squeak of the bed filled the room, and it may as well have been a fucking symphony for all that it was doing to Marco.

Marco bent over Kieran’s back, mouthing the sweaty skin along the way, salty and tangy against his tongue. He wrapped one arm around Kieran’s neck, feeling the hammering pulse against his arm, and used his other hand to balance himself.

“Touch yourself,” he commanded in a low voice. “I want you to come first.”

It didn’t take long for Kieran to come, and as the moan choked out of him, Marco was right behind him like a fallen domino, biting into Kieran’s shoulder to stop himself from screaming into his ear. There was another roar that hummed inside of him, jangling inside the space between his ribs. It swelled like the start of a wave before it crashed down onto the surf.

It wasn’t an unsettling feeling now. Marco had felt this before, when he realized he was in love with Kieran, and the revelation had been terrifying. But now he knew he wasn’t alone. Everything he needed was right here.

Kieran collapsed onto the bed, a grunt quickly following as Marco’s weight fell on top of him. He turned his head away from the pillow and wheezed, “I can’t breathe.”

Marco carefully pulled out, noticing the wrinkle of discomfort on Kieran’s face. He brushed his knuckles over Kieran’s sweaty back, watching the way it rose and fell with his heavy breathing.

“Shower?” Marco offered. He really wanted to go to sleep, but he felt gross and sticky.

Kieran hummed. “Yeah. I just need to wait for feeling to come back into my legs.”

  Marco chuckled. “That good, huh?”

“Incendiary,” Kieran replied without missing a beat. “Ten out of ten, would do it again.” He flipped onto his back. His eyes were glassy, hair sticky and damp with sweat. There was the familiar flush over his chest, and a lopsided smile on his lips. “Just so you know, I like it the other way too.”

Marco leaned over and kissed Kieran gently. “Same.”

“Guess that makes us a perfect match,” Kieran whispered, his breath hot on Marco’s lips.

“Yeah, I guess it does,” Marco replied softly kissing Kieran again. “Now let’s shower and take a nap before the guys get back.”

It was a hot summer afternoon, and the beach was busy. The sand glittered under the sun, and even with sunglasses, Marco had to squint. The umbrella above him shadowed a lot of the brightness, and he was grateful.

Because then he could see Kieran better.

Kieran was out on the waves with Devon and Eli. He sliced through them like a knife, painting a solid path behind him. It was like watching art come to life. Marco couldn’t see Kieran’s expression from where he was sitting, but he was sure that his eyes were narrowed with focus, his bottom lip caught between his teeth.

“Well, I’m glad you two have finally seen the error of your ways,” Carter drawled. He was sprawled out on a beach chair, hanging out in the sun, his golden skin shiny with something that made him smell like coconuts.

“Yeah, I guess we did,” Marco agreed.

Kieran was pulling out of the water, his hair a wet mess over his forehead. He stopped on his walk back to the group, tilting his head to the sky and smiling. It pulled at something in Marco’s chest, and Marco realized now that it was love.

“Carter, what the fuck are you wearing?” Devon asked. His voice was filled with humor, and Marco turned to see Carter smile without opening his eyes as he sunbathed.

“They’re my patriotic Speedos,” Carter replied, tucking a thumb under the waistband and snapping it. It wasn’t exactly a lie. The striped red, white, and blue Speedo was shimmery under the sharp rays, the stripes accentuating far more of Carter’s dick than Marco would have liked.

Marco got out of his seat and nodded to Devon. “You can take my seat; I’ll be right back.”

Devon sat down to continue his banter with Carter about the choice of Speedo he always seemed to buy. Marco could hear Eli’s low laugh, but that faded the closer he got to Kieran. The waves crashed against the damp surf as the seagulls cawed around them. The air was thick and humid, and Kieran was so fucking gorgeous under the sunlight, a euphoric smile still on his face.

“Hey,” Marco said, grinning when Kieran jumped a little. “Having a moment with nature?”

Kieran shielded his eyes with his free hand and chuckled. “Yeah, something like that.”

Marco inched a step closer. “What were you thinking about?”

Kieran sank his teeth into his bottom lip, the sheepish grin on his face almost too much to handle. “I was thinking about you. Us.”

Marco’s heart skipped a solid beat. “Yeah?”

Kieran tilted his head to the side, the smile growing on his face. “Yeah. I’m glad you’re coming to Chicago soon.”

Marco had finally worked it out with his schedule to be able to visit Kieran at the end of the month. He and Kieran decided to have him stay for a couple of weeks, and since he could work from home, the opportunity was perfect. Marco was excited and nervous.

“I’ve been thinking too,” Marco whispered, drawing closer until his chest brushed against Kieran’s wetsuit. The sun was beating down on his shoulders, and the warmth spread through his whole body like wildfire. “I think I’m going to love Chicago.”

Kieran’s smile grew wider. “Oh yeah? Why’s that?”

Marco’s hand cupped Kieran’s face, his thumb brushing over Kieran’s chin. It was rough with stubble and sand. “Because it has you.”

When Marco leaned closer to kiss Kieran, he tasted of the ocean. But his mouth was warm and inviting, a perfect accompaniment to the sound of seagulls and waves and the feel of the wet shore under his toes. In the background, the guys cheered them on, and Marco broke the kiss with a chuckle.

“We have fans, apparently,” Marco whispered against Kieran’s mouth.

“Well, we better give them a good show then, huh?” Kieran whispered back, leaning in for another kiss.

  Marco couldn’t argue with that.
